Lone Wolf

I had a magical moment at a mountain cafe. I was enjoying my coffee and journaling when I saw a man with interesting shoes.

They inspired me to write a poem, which I’ll share with you below.

As I finished writing, I noticed a woman at the opposite table looking at me. She smiled, and I smiled back. We started chatting, and I told her about my poem, and she asked if I could read it to her, and I did.

It surprised me when her eyes filled with tears, as she said it was just what she needed to hear. I felt a sudden warmth in my chest, and she then went on to tell me she was going through a hard time, and my poem gave her hope.

It was a beautiful moment, and I’m glad I followed my muse of that man with interesting shoes.

Lone Wolf

Walk walk walk
The journey seems long
Twisting and turning
Sing along

Conscious or unconscious
The choice is yours

We are awakening
Look up, look around

Your tribe is gathering

The lone wolf has gone
