On a crisp winter’s morning, I found myself nestled in a charming café, indulging in a delicious breakfast. For those familiar with my poetry and articles, it comes as no surprise that I often seek solace and inspiration within the walls of these delightful spaces. The notion might seem unusual, but to me, the café has become an enchanted realm of creativity.
As I sipped my hot coffee, observing the world go by through the windows, my eyes were drawn to the specials board. One word, in particular, stood out in vibrant letters: ‘rich.’ Though it merely referred to a sumptuous chocolate pudding, it stirred something deep within me, awakening a dormant muse.
Isn’t it fascinating how a single word, innocently displayed on a menu, can be the catalyst for an entire outpouring of inspiration?
In that moment, I felt a surge of creative energy, eager to express itself in the form of written words.
The chocolate pudding, a simple dessert, became an embodiment of life’s rich offerings. Each spoonful spoke of the sweetness and richness that lies hidden in the seemingly ordinary moments. It was as if the universe whispered its secrets to me through the conduit of this dessert.

As I sat there, jotting down my thoughts, I couldn’t help but marvel at the power of serendipity. How a chance encounter with a single word on a specials board led me on a journey of introspection and artistic expression.
