I was tired and decided this week to take a couple of days off to rejuvenate. My thinking mind had been overactive and was draining my energy, and I needed to reconnect and re-align with my soul.
So, over the last couple of days I rested and felt rather than thought and was led to watch some of my most favourite movies; The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield, Conversations with God by Neil Donald Walshe and The Shift by Dr. Wayne Dyer. Smiling, I have to say that I wept on some occasions honestly, I wasn’t crying from sadness but in recognition of many aha moments.
Yesterday, I asked my soul to guide me and show me my next step, and during the early hours of this morning, I experienced a magical healing in my dream state.
Firstly, to give you some background a friend of mine had asked me to join his company to help with the sales and staffing. At the time the turnover was $25K, and I assisted him to become a multimillion-dollar company. The deal was he would pay my mortgage, and in the meantime, I would work for a small income much less than what I was worth. I was happy with that although at times it was difficult financially as a single parent with two young children.
Over time he became profitable, paid off his family home and purchased numerous investment properties but never honoured his verbal agreement. Eventually, due to some actions, I became disgruntled and left. One month later he knocked on my front door, flowers in hand on bended knee begged me to return, his business was floundering.
With compassion, I chose to return to the condition I was paid what I was worth. I didn’t mention our original agreement to pay out my mortgage because I felt sorry for him and trusted that it would happen eventually.
Within six months I realised nothing had changed! Through some profound and magical happenings, I commenced my holistic business and left for the last time.
Within a couple of years, I woke one morning after having a dream about him and his business. I saw that he had given a Director’s guarantee and this caused him to go bankrupt. I have to admit I struggled with what I should do. I was still angry. So, I put my grievance aside and called him, and shared my dream. He knew I was intuitive and thanked me but within two years it came true, and he lost everything including his family home.
He turned up at my doorstep once again seeking my friendship, but this time I showed no compassion. I was direct and told him so, he left soon after, and I have to admit I felt guilty for the way I behaved.
In the early hours this morning he was in my dream. I was working for him and noticed I was putting in minimal effort, not my norm, and I was transparent.
I could see a young man stepping up, and felt comfortable he had someone to replace me. He told me that he loved me, but it was time for me to go.
I felt such a great sense of peace as I woke from my dream.
On reflection, the young man was a younger version of him, and he had stepped up which made my heart glow. You see we both let go. I didn’t realise that all this time eighteen years I’d been holding onto the anger of the unfulfilled promise.
Today, I feel happy and free, and thankful my soul showed me my next step.
Please don’t underestimate the healing that can happen in your dream state. Our soul loves us and has beautiful ways of showing up and leading the way when we ask.
