Inspiration, I wanted to talk about inspiration this week.
It’s been a very satisfying week. I’ve managed to action and finished my to-do list, and have been privileged to speak at my local spiritual centre and local business centre.
Inspiration comes to us in many ways. For me, it’s everything! Every breath, looking out and in nature, the sounds of the birds trilling outside my room. My gorgeous puppy when she looks up at me with her beautiful eyes, eager to play. Even, when I’ve fallen, and past hurts and challenges, and then the signs of hope that appear in such a simple way like, a white feather or dandelion floating around me.
Recently, I’ve had three consecutive experiences with a bright green grasshopper, not so commonly seen these days. The third was my puppy Maggie bringing one to me, intact mind you, and dropping it at my feet. Do you think I needed to take notice? Definitely, and I googled the spiritual meaning, and it indeed was inspirational.
All these experiences whether miraculous or challenging have created a magnificent tapestry of my life, and how exciting and colourful! Smiling, I’ve never really been a beige person.
The accumulation of life’s experience is how I walk my path because I love to dive in deep and also enjoy skimming across the water for a different view. My life is my inspiration for it enriches me as a person, and with faith, the stories can be shared to support, and bring hope into the hearts of those willing to listen or read.
A beautiful colleague of mine came to my recent business talk and afterwards shared how she loved the fact when I was speaking, it was like having a conversation. She didn’t feel talked at but felt included.
Another beautiful soul messaged me after my talk at the spiritual centre and wrote, “Thank you for the talk on Sunday. It hit home for me in a big way. Keep up the good work.”
Sitting here in my sanctuary writing, I feel a gentle warmth of gratitude filter through me. Thank you, thank you, thank you I whisper to myself. So grateful to be walking this path, and thankful for you reading and inspiring me to write and share on this platform.
