Star Child – The Soul Sings

As a small child, I used to run around singing, ‘I’m a star child, I’m a star child.’
To be honest, I never thought about what it meant or was. I suppose I just knew, and it made me happy to skip and sing.

The innocence of a child is refreshingly open and fearless.

As the star child experienced more of what the human life offered, she often found herself sitting in her bath knees hunched up to her chest and singing, but this time it was different. It was sounds and frequencies; she was calling and connecting to home.

I was around eight years of age when I found my soul’s voice. I remember every cell within my body would activate and vibrate giving me such a euphoric feeling. Sadness slipped away, and I felt uplifted and energised.

Connecting back to that small child, she always knew her purpose on this earth. She knew she was to bring hope into this world and was gifted a beautiful smile, sparkling eyes, and a soothing voice. She understood it raised people’s vibration and it was her role to do precisely that.

Though along the way she had lost herself.

Her focus had become external as she took on her role with gusto not realising how important it was to also take care of herself, her energy and her light.

Have you ever felt that way?

The responsibility began to weigh heavily and at times, felt impossible as her own life spiralled into the abyss. The abyss was her thoughts, the mindless overactive brain that drew from fear, past pain and the what if’s.

Where was the star child? Where had she gone?

This day in my home I was stopped suddenly by a chorus singing. The voices were angelic, and I went outside to look where they came from, but they weren’t external. They were within my left ear. So, I laid down on my bed and listened.

I wish I could describe in words the feeling of the harmonic resonance. It was as if many voices were coming from many directions singing in harmony with each other. Then it dawned on me, OMG they were all me! My heart burst open, and tears flowed in recognition. I lay down for some time being blissed out, re-tuned, loved and reconnected to ME.

Life can be a roller coaster, and during those dips when our vibration is low we can become mindless and unconscious in action.

Through experience, life has shown me that mindlessness only creates fear and uncertainty, and traps us. When we connect to our heart and soul, we feel love and loved, and our breath naturally becomes deeper as we anchor to Mother Earth bringing ourselves into the present.

In the present, mindlessness becomes mindfulness.

Being mindful, we make conscious choices connected to our inner knowing creating simplicity and flow. The star child emerges and once again sings in harmony with her soul’s purpose.

Until next week,
