The Healing Journey

Hello beautiful soul,

The other day during a session with a client, they stated, “I’m sick and tired of having to do this work.”

I felt their frustration as their tears flowed, releasing the hurt and pain. My heart sent a burst of loving energy to surround them as I gently held the space for them.

It’s challenging when we are triggered by our environment, reminding us of past wounds and activating old beliefs and patterns that make us feel trapped.

Breathe deeply – the healing journey is about peeling off layers one by one. It takes courage to unlearn old ways and awaken new ones. It takes courage to face our truth and unfold those layers.

As I sat with the client and shared that in my 60s, I’m still healing, learning, and growing, and although challenging at times, it excites me that slowly and with awareness, I’m healing from the inside out.

I stated that we are incredible human beings with the capacity to protect ourselves emotionally, mentally, and physically; through this, we will compartmentalise the pain that is too much to bear.

Unhealed, in our daily life, our subconscious actions will drive us to act from a fearful place creating more struggle and frustration as unhelpful behavioural patterns keep repeating.

I noticed some disappointment on the face of this beautiful soul in their early 30s.

I smiled kindly and said that although it may feel like a never-ending process – through my experience and willingness to notice and feel the feelings and acknowledge when old patterns or stuck emotional energy of the past rise through my body, and fear tightens my stomach and tries to dominate my thoughts.

I say, “Hello, thank you.” I’m grateful because I know I’m ready, that all my being is ready to heal and make conscious choices for the greater good of me.

I then ask myself – When was the first time I felt this? Does this serve me? Does this support my happiness?

And I deeply breathe it through my body, treat it with compassion and let it go. After all, it is energy in motion that wants to be freed, and it is my choice to either cling to it or let it flow.

Remember, if you resist it and try to push it back down or engage in a way that makes you sink into its old patterning – you will only lose yourself to it and repeat the cycle.

Healing is not a linear process. It pops up when we least expect it. It is a continuous journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and self-love. It is a journey that requires patience, perseverance, and grace.

And my friend, it is a journey that transforms us from within.

💚 Each day becomes more of a gift when we embrace our healing journey.

💚 Each day, we start with a smile on the inside when we appreciate how far we have come.

💚 Each year, those past hurts, traumas, and outdated beliefs become a distant echo while we feel more empowered, more in love with life, purpose, and being.

You are not alone on this journey. You have support from Source/God, guides, angels, loved ones, friends, mentors, coaches, therapists, and healers.

You have support from yourself – your inner wisdom, your intuition, your higher self.

You are a beautiful soul who deserves to heal and experience happiness through a loving presence in your life.

I hope this blog post resonates with you and inspires you to continue your healing journey with courage and compassion.

  1. Loved it Maria and glad you are doing better in yourself. I have no voice my hearing is constant ringing and moving around makes me woozy. Reminds me to be quite just in peace no listening, talking. Just peace and stillness. Look with my eyes and feel what’s around me. To healing I am grateful.
