Feeling into Life

There comes a time in our healing journey when we have enough awareness to FEEL into our life to create it.

What do I mean by that? It’s following the quiet voice of our heart and knowing the difference between our head and heart. In this ‘feeling space,’ past fears do not influence, its simplicity at its purest. It’s the connection of our heart and soul, leading us through love into self-discovery, adventure, curiosity, gratitude, and living and appreciating life in each moment.

It’s very different from our emotion for our emotion is connected to our ego and emotional body influenced by events in our life and can be erratic and fluctuate. It’s also not our physical mind for our mind is connected to our limited life experience. Imagine each experience made up of an event, emotion and belief placed in a file. Through our day, all of those files work in the background of our subconscious. They steer our way through default settings designed to protect us, yet, those very protections shape our future. Sometimes, these are wonderful, other times, patterns are repeated that undermine our happiness.

In March this year, I wrote an article titled, ‘Birthing New and Profound Love‘. In that article, I shared, “A deep longing poked its head out, something hidden for a long time. You see, I longed to be in a loving relationship, and was now ready to invite my partner into my life.”

Near the end of May, this man walked into my life. They say, “Be careful what you wish for.” It’s so true because our mind and past experience and the emotions connected to those can be as fresh today as they were yesterday. How quickly that mind can speak of past hurts and fears. How easy it would have been to listen and sabotage a new beginning, but I was not the woman of my past. I’d healed much and gained more. So, I decided to lean into my feeling. I focused my attention into my heart centre and felt into it. I was surprised because the feeling was powerful and spoke louder than my head chatter.

It was loving and peaceful, and said, “Maria flow with it, feel into it, be happy, and trust.”

From that day, I’ve flowed with my feeling and listened to the voice of my heart. There has been profound happiness, laughter and detachment from the outcome. Where ever this is going is not as important as to what FEELS TRUE NOW!

In life, we can be as free as we choose. Our physical mind and emotional body are essential, although influenced by the sum of our experience. Our heart and soul connection flows in alignment with our path and connects through our heart centre.

There is profound wisdom, and you have access to it. Your soul is filled with love and wishes you to expand and grow.

TRUST in your soul to lead and keep it simple. Don’t question but flow, and feel the peaceful stirrings of your heart.

Love you, namaste

Make A Wish

SibylJuly2018

First Published Sibyl Magazine July 2018

Recently I dropped into a new age store and decided on the spur of the moment to pay for a half hour reading. The woman used tarot cards, and the wish card appeared twice. She reminded me although it says three wishes you have only one wish. I remembered sitting there thinking hard, “What could I wish for that wouldn’t waste this precious one?” I couldn’t decide and chose to save it for later.

Within a couple of days, I found a dandelion on my bedroom floor. I wondered for a moment how it came to be in my home. You see ever since I was a child each time a dandelion floated around me I knew I could make a wish. I called it my wishing star, and then remembered the tarot card and my one wish. I mean really, why was it so hard to make? What was stopping me?

Sitting in contemplation, I concluded it was fear stopping me. The concern I could waste this opportunity and the biggest fear was being unworthy. Then I wondered how I could make a wish that would also benefit others, after all, I always delighted in others gains, but by this time my mind had become a whirlpool of energy, thoughts off in all directions and then, that protective part of me slammed shut, and once again I delayed making that wish.

It was time to move from my rental home. I began the search in earnest and without realising I’d set the intention and made my wish. I knew what I wanted. Three bedrooms, clean and light, a lovely alfresco outdoor area, lawn and garden so that Maggie my pup and I could enjoy, and most importantly a creative space for my writing and a room where I could run my business from home with ease.

Trusting the universe had my back was imperative, and within a short time, my dream property appeared. You see, this was my wish, and against all the odds it came true.

Firstly, there were over thirty applications. Secondly, my referee from my existing property was not forthcoming, and thirdly, I had a dog, and the landlord didn’t want a dog on the property.

There was also something very different I noticed about myself especially after I’d sent in that application which had never happened to me before. Usually I would have ruminated whether I’d get it or not and even in my mind I would have placed my furniture in the new home, and of course, there would be the usual anxious moments, but not this time.

My trust in the universe was stronger than it had ever been. Maybe it was the subconscious knowledge that I’d placed my wish and trusted it would come true.

All I can say is, thank you, thank you, thank you for this home which will not only benefit myself and Maggie but all of the wonderful clients and students I am privileged to work with daily.

Goodbye 2017 and Welcome 2018

goodby 2017 fireworks pic

Gosh, even saying 2018 almost feels space age to me at the tender young age of fifty-seven 😉

I’m sitting at my computer and wondering what could I share as we leave this year behind us, and it pops into my head like this:

–    Value the experiences, don’t judge them.

–    Draw out the wisdom gained.

–    Anchor that wisdom right here, right now.

–    Today is a new day filled with many possibilities.

–    Allow the past to cultivate richness and strength.

–    Move into the future with this knowledge and apply the wisdom.

Each year I choose a word sort of like an intention as to how I want my year to be. This year in 2017 I decided:

SIMPLICITY – to set clear boundaries that serve, love and support me, and to think, speak and act from my heart. To laugh and play a lot, and not take things too seriously.

Did I achieve it? Each time I began complicating my life I remembered my word, connected to my heart and immediately simplified it.  It’s amazing how easy that was to do.

Did I set clear boundaries? I’m getting better, laughing, and having a puppy the latter part of this year certainly helped. By training Maggie and creating her boundaries, surprisingly, it reinforced mine. We’re never alone in our pursuit to learn.

My word for 2018 is:

JOY – My happiness guides me and is the key to all my choices. When I’m happy I’m playful, creative, energised, a master manifestor, and passionate and this will naturally benefit others.

I’d love to read your word for 2018. Be brave my friends and write the word below in the comments. Writing something down with a loving intention creates a wave of magical energy to support you.

As 2017 closes I’ll be in meditation as I’ve done for many years.

I love to begin around ten minutes before the stroke of midnight. I then prepare and align with my heart, and soul, and higher mind and will continue into the new year for however long it flows.

Through my meditation, I expand my light and send healing to our world and especially Mother Earth. I’m also blessed to have received many divinely guided messages, which have supported the next stage of my journey. For this reason, I have next to me a pen and paper to write them down.

Maybe you could try it. If you like you can have a question ready, as you set your intention and align your energy, let go of expectations and meditate. Enjoy the bliss 😊

Well my friends, have an excellent rest of this year, feel the anticipation building and launch into 2018 with a grateful and loving heart.

Until next year,
